Satisfaction is a dark bay KWPN gelding, born June 25, 2022, by Koning out of Renate-Utopia (by Jazz). He was bred by the Van Esch family in Gemonde, born by embryo transfer, and was just started under saddle when he found his new owner.

His dam, Renate-Utopia (ster, preferent, prestatie), is also the dam of Vivaldi, the preferent KWPN stallion who sired more than twenty Grand Prix horses, and of Wiona-Utopia, the 2006 Dutch national mare champion. That makes Satisfaction a half-brother to Vivaldi. His second dam, Darla-Utopia (by Ulft), and third dam, Warla-Utopia (by Duc de Normandie), are both ster and preferent. The same Utopia family produced the Grand Prix horses Interfloor Next One, ridden by Edward Gal, and Santos Utopia. His damsire, Jazz, ranks among the most influential dressage sires of the past 25 years.

His sire, Koning (Governor x Bretton Woods), is a 17.0-hand black KWPN stallion out of the elite IBOP mare Gucci Boa T. With Emmelie Scholtens he placed second in the 2021 Pavo Cup semifinal and was in the running for the World Breeding Championships for Young Dressage Horses. That same year he was sold to French Olympic rider Stéphanie Brieussel.

Satisfaction has been sold and is not for sale. He went to an amateur FEI rider in the United States who was looking for a Grand Prix prospect with big movement and a sensible mind.
