Last Friday Night

Last Friday Night is a black mare, born March 5, 2022, by Le Formidable out of Expedia (by Everdale). She was bred on the family farm in Gemonde, is registered with both the KWPN and the NRPS, and currently stands 16.0 hands (1.63 m) as a four-year-old.

Her sire, Le Formidable (Bordeaux x Ferro), was the top foal in the Netherlands his year and went on to win the 2019 KWPN stallion licensing outright. His dam, Vienna (elite, preferent, prestatie), is a half-sister to the stallion Bretton Woods.

Her dam, Expedia (ster), is by the international Grand Prix stallion Everdale out of Nelinora, the foundation mare of the Van Esch breeding program. Nelinora also produced the Grand Prix horses Fido Dido, Fiji and Fifty Fifty and the Intermediate I mare Ayia Napa. That makes Last Friday Night a granddaughter of Nelinora, straight out of the family's own mare line.
